"My week with First Descents helped me regain a part of myself I haven't had since my diagnosis. A part that believes good things can still exist and that this body which has sustained so much treatment can still be pushed to the brink of achievement. Thank you for providing a space for me to rediscover, redefine, and reinvigorate my life after cancer." – 2025 Program Participant
For climbers, every clip of a carabiner is a lifeline. Small on its own, but attached to other gear, it becomes part of a system of safety that holds you, protects you, and bolsters your courage to keep reaching higher.
In the same way, your gift creates a critical link that strengthens our unbreakable chain of care for young adults dealing with cancer and MS. We can't do it without YOU!
Give Today to Impact a Lifetime Through Our Chain of Care
At First Descents, our Core Programs and Community Adventures are crucial components of the supportive chain that empowers participants to climb, paddle, and surf beyond their challenges, to reclaim their lives, and to connect with others doing the same.
As we head into our 25th year of healing adventures this holiday season, our goal is to raise $50,000 to help fund transformative experiences for young adults impacted by cancer and MS.
To achieve this goal, we’re relying on the generous support of donors like you. Thank you for being a critical link in our chain of care, making our life-changing work possible!
